The development of North Fermanagh Valley Park involved the extension and improvement of the existing clubhouse and spectator stand, creating enhanced facilities for both players and visitors while building on the established character of the site. The proposal was developed to integrate new accommodation with the existing structures in a clear and practical way. Improved changing, support and social facilities strengthen the day-to-day use of the clubhouse, while the extended stand provides upgraded spectator accommodation and a more defined presence along the edge of the playing field. Architecturally, the project adopts a simple and robust language suited to its sporting context. The stand is unified by a lightweight roof structure that provides shelter while maintaining clear views across the pitch, with the seating arrangement designed to create a direct and engaging relationship with the field of play. The completed project brings together sport, community and place, giving the existing facilities a renewed identity while providing more functional and welcoming accommodation. Through careful extension rather than replacement, the scheme enhances the long-term use of the club and strengthens its role within the wider North Fermanagh community.
